I've come to a crossroads in regards to my happiness, and where to find it. What do you think about this? I've found myself at a crossroads when it comes to certain areas of my happiness. I am a very happy person, and very comfortable with who I am. In fact I don't think I've ever been really unhappy in my life. It's just that I've never been completely satisfied in my life is all. I think it's more of a general feeling of not being complete, or wanting to return to a former state of happiness. And I'm beginning to ponder ways of doing so, without jeopardizing my current state of well being. Some of the things I have pondered seem to be age appropriate, while others seem to be a bit of a stretch. For example, I used to be big into MMORPG's, and still am in some regards. I was planning on revisiting some of the old games I used to play. In one game, in particular, that I had in mind, I used to be a leader of a group in it. I had a bit of a falling out with the group, and suceeded as it's leader, and left the game shortly therafter. The general sense of happiness and pride I had at that moment was lost, and the joy I received from it has long since past as well. I've since found happiness in many other forms, but wish to try to reaquire that happiness without losing current ground. But I fear old feelings from the falling out with this group may arise, and I'd hate for that to bring me down at all. It wouldn't be depressing, it would simply make me miss the happiness I once had, and I wouldn't want a pseudo-happiness to come from this, since pseudo-happy feelings seem to be short lived for me, and add to what I miss from earlier years. Something else I have considered at this point is is reverting to some of the old shows I used to watch on TV as a young man/child. I remember when I was young, that the whole Pokemon thing had just started to come out. I was mulling over the idea of revisiting the series at my present stage of life to see what sense of joy I can recoupe from it, if any. I'm not entirly sure I'd even find anything enjoyable from the series anymore, and also fear that this may seem somewhat childish, considering I'm in my early 20's. In regards to Television series, I am simply interested in revisiting a time when I was happier, and using it as a medium to facilitate my current happiness into a new level, as well as reflect on a state of happiness I once had, and as a way to hold onto memories. So my quetion for the community is this: What should I do in order to recoupe some of the happiness I had in my younger years? What do you think of me picking up hobbies I once had? What do you think of me possably using TV shows to facititate happiness? What other suggestions do you have?
