Who Was John De Courcy?

John De Courcy was an Irish maritime historian and political activist. He was born in Lucknow India and was educated at Marlborough College, Oxford University and Trinity College Dublin and awarded a PhD in 1951. He died in 2006 at the age of 94 years old.
