Who Were the First People on Earth?

Answer

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were the first people on earth. However, there are beliefs that Adam and Eve were not the first people on this planet, and this is evidenced by the same Bible (the part of the story in Genesis where Cain finds a wife after being expelled from the garden). It is not known for sure who the first people on earth were, however it is thought that although Adam and Eve were not the first people on earth, they were considered important because they form part of the lineage to Jesus Christ.
