Why Did Leonardo DA Vinci Write Backwards?

Answer

It is not known for sure why Leonardo Da Vinci wrote backwards, although there are several theories. It is possible that he wrote backwards to stop people from stealing his ideas or to hide them from the Roman Catholic Church, which disagreed with ideas it deemed contrary to its teachings. Writing backwards as Leonardo did is referred to as mirror writing.
