Why Did the Bosnian War Happen?

Answer

The Bosnian War occurred between March 1, 1992 and December 14, 1995. The reason the war happened is because of the breakup of Yugoslavia. It was mostly a territorial conflict. Herzegovina and the Republic of Bosnia were attacked by Bosnian Serb forces. The war ended in 1995 by NATO, who bombed certain areas. The war ended with the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement. By the end of the war, it is believed that over 100,000 soldiers and civilians were killed.
