Why Did the Scandinavians Come to America?

Answer

Scandinavians came to America for much of the same reasons most immigrants did - for a chance at a better, and more prosperous life in America. Many came to live with family already in the US. The Scandinavians found America had great amount of land to farm, something they had a tough time finding in their native country.
