Why Do Men Go Bald and Not Women?

Answer

Men go bald due to a genetically inherited condition called male-pattern baldness which is not found in women. This condition results in high amounts of dihydrotestostrene (DHT) that disrupts normal growth patterns of hair follicles, causing them to die. Men also have sebum that clogs the pores thus damaging the hair follicles.
