There were different reasons to why your dog kept licking his paws as it may be a behavioural or medical symptom. The reasons were due to inflammation or local irritant from parasites, inhalant or food allergies, arthritis and foreign objects on the paws.

If your dog is licking their paws it could be an allergy that the dog has. Changing its diet to possibly a fish based food can help as well as wiping their feet with a vinegar and water mix.
