Pluto does not fit in as a planet because its size compared to its moon, Charon, is not big enough. It was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh at Lowell Observatory in 1930. It has also been clear for decades that it does not fit in with the pattern of the other planets.

Pluto does not fit in as a planet because of a few things. Pluto's size compared to it's moon, Charon, is not big enough. Pluto's size issue with it's moon causes problems with domination.
