Suzie... have you had her tested for diabetes ? It is my understanding that this is a common symptom of canine diabetes.... and, if this test has not been done... it should be....

Your dog could be thirsty because it's hot outside and they are trying to keep cool. If that's not it you may need to take the dog to the vet.
