Water is life. Without water, we would not exist, and neither would we have amazing things like burgers and pizza. Water is needed for the growth of plants and animals. When water shortages occur, entire civilizations can be forced to migrate or can be wiped out if water is not found.

Water is very important because it is a basic component of life. Our bodies require water for a number of reasons such as transportation of nutrients, detoxification and temperature regulation. Plants also need water to manufacture food.
