Women with Big Feet?

Answer

According to a new study, during pregnancy women's feet may get bigger in size, a change that appears to be permanent. In the study, researchers measured the arch heights and foot length of 49 women during their pregnancy and five months after they had given birth. On average, the arch height decreased and their foot length increased between two and 10 millimeters during this period. The change in foot size could be due to the extra weight that women carry during pregnancy. The results suggest that a woman's first pregnancy maybe have the biggest impact on foot size, but since this study was not that big, a larger study is needed to confirm this.
