The sixth amendment was ratified in December 15, 1971. This allowed us to have the freedom of a fair trial. I don't know about you but that makes me happy.

The 6th Amendment to the Constitution basically states that you have the right to a trial that is quick and you can have a jury that is impartial. You also have the right to legal counsel and obtain witnesses for your defense.
