Well there both good. Mederma is good if your scar is new. Bio Oil is good if it been there for a long time. I would say old would be for about 3 months and new 2 weeks.

i think it takes about 3 months or so, but it depends on your skin and if you apply it when ur supposed to. u can also use skin lighting cream, sold at drugstores. that can help make ur scar lighter.
