from wat i heard it makes the labour more difficult esp if the baby is breech, i mean u can give birth naturally that way but it tends to b more painful and longer

They don't check an anterior placenta, only if it's low or a previa (covering part or all of the cervical opening). An anterior placenta is not dangerous and there is no reason to check it under normal circumstances.
