yes and no... yes you can unlock it.. but you could only call.. txt would sometimes work.. no internet no downloading things or aim or anything.. pretty much all the data on the sk2 would not b supported by cingulars network.. so yes it can...

Because T-mobile and Cingular share towers. Cingular, being much bigger than T-mo fills in where T-mobile doesn't have coverage, so when you are in a cingular coverage area it will roam on the Cingular network .
