No relation at all. Sincerity is judged in putting in efforts to perform something. Complement is praise for excellent performance. Compliment can be sincere but need not necessarily be sincere. It can be just a formality.

Depends on the compliment and the complimenter! But I am always polite and thank the person. What I do about the compliment is a different story.

Nope... happened to me too. : ( I held down Control and clicked on "Send a Compliment" and another window opened up for me to do my thing... but something's definitely screwey with that button right now.
