okay, first don't get them refaced. Home Depot sells hinges as does Restoration Hardware (more $$$$). You can easily replace the hinges. As for the doors themselves, I am assuming they are wood - strip whatever is on them or sand them down ...

If you have the door, the hinge and the cupboard put them together without cutting, drilling or screwing anything together. Then have a go. if it all goes wrong take it all to pieces and have another go.
