A dromedary is just a fancy name for an Arabian camel. A dromedary has one hump, not two and they are noted to have a foul disposition. You'll find the dromedary in North Africa as well as the Middle East primarily.

Bactrians have lots of hair because they live in the cooler areas in china and surrounding countries. Dromedaries have a shorter lighter color coat to live in the desert. Remember D for desert is Dromedary nobody remembers Bactrian.
