I will not stay where I don't have a door that goes directly outside. In case of fire that's just way to much trouble to get outside. I also have to have a window that will open. There is no air in those places.

I'm not too bothered about luxury, but I do like a quiet place so I can get a good night's sleep. So I don't like to be next to a lift, stairwell or above the bar/disco. Blackout curtains in the summer are good too.
