Get the movie, get the subtitle file then just rename the subtitle file into the movie name i.e your movie name is scarymovie.avi, then rename your subtitle file into scarymovie.srt

I don't find subtitle that much of a bother. On those English movies that I have watched and had the subtitles on for various reasons I haven't found them distracting. Plus on those movies which are in a foreign language I usually find that...

Even if there's an English language soundtrack available, I often prefer to wath foreign movies with subtitles. The reason for that is that the dubbing is often very badly done, and either the lip synch's not right or the voices don't match...

Please make sure that the file name is same as movie (video) file. You should check if the subtitle file has an error. If there is an error in subtitle file, it can't be shown on TV.
