Answer you can buy a pre-paid card, for itunes etc, and even save on songs! or you can go into your local sanity store and they should have a "download station" type thing were you take a flash and download paying $1 or so for a song.

No you do not loose the information. When it reinstall it only replaces the exe files and registry files. Your downloaded information is safe. Though I highly recommend you not use lime wire.
