The torch relay for the 2012 London Olympics began on 19 May 2012 at Land's End, England. It will pass through many cities including Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool, Belfast, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle and after 70 days will end in London.
The flame was lit in Olympia, Greece on May 10, 2012. It was transported to Britain on May 18 for the beginning of the torch relay.
