try using a hairdrier to loosen the glue on the bottom. I am not sure about this specific brand or container, but that should work, in principle. and use a very narrow screw-driver, like from glasses repair kit.

They have Physicians Formula in Walmart...And there are walmarts everywhere... so walmart i guess! Most drugstores/superstores carry that brand actually. Lawtons, Shoppers, Walmart, there are more i just can't remember!
