Really cheap hairspray does work and won't discolor (even after 20 years!). Don't spray too close to the paper though. Test it first on a sample, same as you would with a standard acrylic fixative spray. Art stores carry the fixative sprays...

You have to be careful using the proper fixative as it can cause drowsiness or dizziness. It's always best to use it somewhere with very good ventilation. Either that or just use cheap hairspray, works OK.
