Neither one of these have lawaway, at least not in Alabama. K-Mart still has layaway and has just recently aired a commerical about it knowing that their competitor Wal-Mart stopped.

You might make sure it isn't just one store with Wal Mart. I am shocked that they would cancel layaway. However, the best layaway is a savings account! Earn interest while you are saving for a big purchase.
