At 19weeks I was told I was having a boy, and I did With my second I had a scan at 20wks, they were 95% sure it was a girl but they couldn't really see clear lines. At 27weeks I had a 4d scan which proved it was a girl - so they were right.

Ultrasounds are usually done at 12 weeks to date a pregnancy, and give you a due date. Aslo to make sure the babys measurements are fine and that the baby is growing right. Good luck
