Outgoing calls are blocked using the star (*) 67 feature. Dialing *67 prior to inputting telephone numbers prevents the caller's number from being viewed on the receiving end.
The *67 prefix is useful for callers wishing to remain anonymous. Phone number and location are unable to be seen when calls are made using this feature. The prefix must be redialed prior to each call if the caller wishes to remain anonymous for any length of time. Cell phones and landlines have the ability to block outgoing caller information using this dialing prefix so long as the telephone subscriber has not disabled the feature.
