Q:

What is iMGSRC?

A:

IMGSRC is a free photo-sharing website based in Russia. The site allows users to post images of any content, and some members have used the website to spread child pornography. A few of the website's users have been arrested and charged under criminal law. Most of the site operates legally. IMGSRC boasts of 637,000 users who have uploaded 38 million photographs as of 2014.

The man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the crime. In 2013, Massachusetts police officer Paul Manganelli Jr.,was charged with receiving and sending photos and videos of child pornography on iMGSRC. The officer claims that he was using the website to do research and to identify online child pornographers. He was sentenced to five years in federal prison in 2014.
