A Pioneer SX 315 is an audio visual receiver that converts audio and visual signals and sends them to displays and speakers. Users can connect their DVD player, tape deck, VCR, satellite receiver, set-top cable box or antennas through the Pioneer SX 315 to a television or other screen and up to six surround sound speakers. Receivers promote easy access to multiple television accessories.
The Pioneer SX 315 has inputs for analog audio cables, a coaxial digital audio cable or standard video cable and an optical cable. It has multiple channels that can handle a DVD player, a set-top cable box or satellite receiver, a VCR or tape deck, AM and FM antennas, and the surround sound system at one time.
There is an output for headphones on the front that allows users to listen to audio without disturbing other people in the room; when headphones are connected, the speakers automatically cease to emit sound. When the surround system is accessible, the receiver can send signals to the speakers in mono, stereo or surround to fulfill the audio needs of movies, television and music. The receiver comes with an AM loop antenna, an FM wire antenna, two AA batteries, a remote control, instructions and a warranty card.
