The text-editing program WordPad does not have a built-in spell check functionality. The functionality of WordPad includes font choices as well as graphic styling. Content made on WordPad can also add links to both an offline and online source inside a document.
Users of the Windows 8 operating system can activate its universal spelling auto-correct feature which will work on WordPad. The WordPad program has been included in every version of Windows since Windows 95. On its introduction, it replaced a program called Microsoft Write. The WordPad source code was also released by Microsoft as part of its Microsoft Foundation Classes.
