A "best films" list, certainly. But of exactly 10, in marching order? These 20 stood out for me, and I treasure them all. If it had been 19 or 21, that would have been OK. If you must have a Top 10 List, find a coin in your pocket.

Dogville is in my top 20 from this decade and The Insider is not only Michael Mann’s masterpiece but one of the best films ever. I also like Unbreakable a lot, though it’s been years since I saw it.

So without further explanation, here’s a list of some of my own favorite films from 1968. I couldn’t manage to narrow all my choices down to a mere Top 10 so I just decided to share my Top 20 list instead.

Quentino Tarantino, whose new film "Inglorious Basterds" hits theatres on August 21st, has just compiled a six minute video for Sky Films in which he lists his Favorite 20 Films of the past 17 years. Why 17 years? ... I wonder if Fincher would place him in his top 20... doubt it.
