The Front Mission series revolves around warfare in a near to distant future. Armed conflicts are fought with a new type of the weapon, the so-called Wanzers. Originally developed by German arms manufacturers in the mid 21st century, Wanzers are widely used as walking tanks in the Front Mission universe.

Another review I saw somewhere said that to appreciate this soundtrack, you must not compare the other work of the artists to this. Personally, I totally disagree. I call this "FFVII done right" for Uematsu and "Every 2300 AD Chrono Trigger" for Mitsuda. ... The music on here is downright awesome. ... However, that won't be so easy.
