Bartonite, a potassium iron sulfide repprsented by its chlorine-free variety, was, for the first time in Russia, found at Kedykverpakh Mt, in Lovozero alkaline massif, Kola Peninsula. The compact segregation of bartonite (as large as 13 X 6 mm) was detected occurring in a natrolite vein with ussingite, trona, etc.
