Injuring yourself on purpose by making scratches or cuts on your body with a

The problem with cutting, as with any addiction, is that by harming yourself you
never really are able to confront your deepest feelings. Perhaps that is you.
When you cut yourself, you may experience a momentary high. But the emotional
pain is still there, combined with guilt after, but the emotional pain comes back.
