Well, Seminoles were Indians that originally lived in Florida. But they later moved to Texas. And the word "Negro" is just another name for black or African-American people. The Seminole-Negro Indians scouted for the United States Army during the Indian wars of the late 1800s in Texas.

The term Negro is imprecise and was variously applied to transplanted Africans, mulattoes, zambos, and in some instances to-Indians with no African genes. Jefferson divided the American population into the three categories: red, white, and black.

Article on the Siddis, a South Asian people of African origin. It is well known that the Muslim rulers of India brought with them black African soldiers. The Indian Ocean trade also brought African slaves to the shores of South Asia.

These people are of African ancestry,why can't they take pride and research that? Kiley, do you claim to be African-American? Because if you are, you would know that many American Indians recognize Lumbee, Seminole, and Cherokee who have significant African heritage.
