Apple and FedEx are well-known companies, but there are a lot of giant businesses across the U.S. Some are even a big deal around the globe. Wal-mart has the highest earning revenue in the country and the business is from Arkansas. Berkshire Hathaway earns more than Apple, and it’s located in Nebraska. Arkansas: Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. ($485.9 billion)

Move over ExxonMobil, Berkshire Hathaway, and Apple, Wal-Mart makes more money and runs Arkansas, maybe even the country. In a lot of states, Wal-Mart is the leading private employer. It’s the biggest revenue-earning company in the country.

Alabama: Alabama Power ($5.6 billion)

One of the nation’s largest producers of energy is in Alabama. The company provides power to over a million homes generated by hydroelectric plants, solar power, wind, and biomass.

Arrow Electronics distributes services associated with electronic components and computer products.

Delaware: E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company ($24.6 billion)

Also known as DuPont, the business has plenty of skills and is involved in many markets. Some include agriculture, bioscience, nutrition and health, electronics, communications, safety and protection, transportation, industrial chemicals, and apparel.

Phoenix, Arizona is home to one of the world’s top distributor of electronic components and embedded solutions.
