Brain Cancer
Brain cancer is an overgrowth of cells in the brain that form masses called tumors. Cancerous (malignant) brain tumors tend to grow very quickly, disrupting body functions. They can be life threatening. However, brain cancer is rare. There is no way to prevent brain cancer, but ways to reduce risk include avoiding exposure to pesticides and insecticides, avoiding exposure to carcinogenic chemicals, not smoking, and avoiding unnecessary exposure to radiation.
